Art Ritual Art Exhibition Opening : View contemporary artworks by local North Carolina and Bay Area artists

Join us for the opening of Charlotte Russell Contemporary's exhibition, Art Ritual on April 9, 2021, 5 to 8 pm. 

Art Ritual is a group exhibition featuring contemporary artwork that explores the ritual of art making. Selected artists include King Nobuyoshi Godwin, Kelly Sheppard Murrary, Rebecca Kaufman, Ethel Revita, Evelyn Reyes, and Joy Tirade. Using their own forms and mediums, the artworks on view create an event of seeing.

Also on view are artworks by North Carolina female painters Jen Mathews and Hannah Surace in Colorful Conversaton. Each with their own approach and unique color combinations, the paintings on view are a colorful conversation on contemporary paintings in North Carolina now.
