Sydney Zester

Sydney Beach Zester is a mixed-media abstract artist based in Wilmington, NC. She began working with textiles over 15 years ago and her work has shown in Brooklyn, NY and Wilmington, NC.

 

 

Her work draws from her experience as an endurance athlete. She looks to replicate the feeling of content calm and bubbling energy that sweet swims in the ocean or long runs under canopies of trees provide. This balance between giddy and gusto consistently shows up in her work through playful color and wonky shapes.
