WHERE IS THE GALLERY LOCATED?
In November 2022, Charlotte Russell Contemporary transitioned to an online collection of contemporary art. Previously Charlotte Russell Contemporary had two brick-and-mortar locations (the Village District and Five Points, Raleigh, NC) located in Five Points at 2012 A Fairview Road in Raleigh, NC.

ARE ALL OF THE ARITISTS YOU FEATURE LOCAL?
We primarily work with artists local to North Carolina, however we also feature a few artists from across the country. To find out where a specific artist is from, you can find more information about them on their 'Artist' page on our website.
HOW OFTEN ARE EXHIBITIONS ROTATED?
We rotate our exhibitions every 4-6 weeks. All shows, current and previous, are available to view on our website under the ‘Exhibitions’ page.
DOES YOUR GALLERY OFFER ARTWORK APPRAISALS OR RE-SELL ARTWORK?
At this time, we do not offer artwork appraisals nor do we re-sell artwork. We work on consignment directly with all of our artists and are not equipped to take inventory for re-sale. If you have artwork you no longer wish to keep, we advise you contact the Appraisers Association of America or a local art auctioneer.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ARTIST SUBMISSIONS?
Artist submissions are always welcome! Refer to the 'Submissions' page on our website with details of how to properly submit your work. Please note that not all submissions will be accepted.
HOW DO I PURCHASE ARTWORK?
To purchase a piece online, click on the ‘Inquire’ button alongside the piece you would like to purchase. Fill out the provided questions and we will email you a private link to checkout. If you are interested in purchasing multiple pieces, please specify which works you are interested in and we will include all pieces in your link.
HOW CAN I TELL IF AN ARTWORK IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?
All of the artwork listed under our 'Shop Art' page is available for purchase. If there is a piece you are interested in and you are unsure if it is available or not, feel free to contact us via email or phone and we will confirm the availability.
DOES YOUR GALLERY HAVE AN 'ON APPROVAL' POLICY? HOW DOES IT WORK?
Yes! We allow paintings to be taken home prior to purchasing so that you can see a piece in your space before making a final decision. We do require that we have a credit card on file prior to taking artwork with you. If you would like to take a piece home on approval, please contact us at email@example.com .
CAN I HOLD ARTWORK PRIOR TO PURCHASING?
Yes, we can hold artwork for up to 24 hours without deposit.
CAN I RETURN ARTWORK AFTER PURCHASING?
All purchased artwork is final sale and cannot be returned. We encourage clients to first take paintings on approval before making a final decision to purchase.
DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING? WHO COVERS THE SHIPPING COST?
Yes! We can ship artwork nationwide. Shipping costs are be covered by the buyer following USPS, UPS, or FedEX shipping rates.
DO YOU OFFER LOCAL DELIVERY/PICKUP?
Yes! If you are local and would like for us to deliver your artwork to you directly, please specify so upon making your purchase. We will coordinate a date and time with you and ensure that your art will be delivered with care. If you make a purchase and would like to pick it up from the gallery, come by during our hours of operation or during a scheduled appointment time. We ask that you give us at least 1 days notice so that your art can be properly packaged for safe transport.
